Running the Survey
Serving as the nation’s second-largest producer of natural gas, Chesapeake Energy Corporation is also one of Fortune 100’s Best Companies to Work For, four years running. Not hard to believe when you consider they recently added a child daycare center for their employees at their headquarters in Oklahoma City. Looking to add an outdoor playground to the recently completed daycare, Hutton Construction provided its expertise to make the next-to-impossible a reality.
Laying the Foundation
Given a demanding and unforgiving installation schedule, we collaborated with overseas manufacturers to ensure timely and prompt delivery of the play equipment as required to keep the project on schedule. With all parties involved on board with the owner’s deadline, Hutton Construction proceeded to move the project from phase to phase on all cylinders. There was no looking back and the project had to be completed on time and within budget.
The Finishing Touches
Finished as scheduled, the playground facility provides a place for toddlers and preschoolers alike to enjoy outdoor activity while developing motor skills and coordination. Aside from the fun, the playground was also designed to be safe. Rubberized play surface covers the play area to help minimize bumps and bruises and provides an added bonus for parents by eliminating sand in their children’s shoes. This first-class play facility, one that any daycare would be jealous of, will provide fun and safety for generations to come.
